Rice and chicken

I can't think of a clever title for this entry so I named it what I'm eating. Maybe I'll always do that - except that I never "always" do things, because I forget. Ah, well.

I still feel lousy.

R is making me go to a doctor to find out, as he puts it, "why my wife suddenly has Parkinson's." Funny. He called our midwife, Heather Johnston, about my shaking and she said it's not normal and told him to take me for a physical - preferably to a naturopath (sp?), which is convenient because we happen to be friends with one. Soooo...there's that. I guess I should explain because no one who doesn't live here knows what I mean - except Sh because he was staying here and helped R tease me about my bobbing head.

This pregnancy has had me shaking a lot, especially my head and my right hand, which sometimes gets so out of control I can't hold things or use it for anything. The hand is almost constant, the head is getting more so, and it all gets worse when I'm especially tired or sick, or have just thrown up - which sadly, is also happening more often. Blech. Anyway, I didn't think it was anything to worry about but R snuck away and called HJ today and then announced that there was something wrong with me and we were going to make an appointment with Dr. Ben. So, that's that, and I'll update after that appointment. I forbid anyone to worry.

I think that's all the news there is, except a funny story about J. R has been jiy87iy,o975rtm (R says hi) working in the attic at the job they're on and he came home filthy yesterday but didn't get to change or take a shower because of a bunch of things that happened. At bedtime, J was wearing jammies that were dried on the line outside and I sniffed him and told him he smelled good, after which he returned the compliment. Then he looked at his daddy and crinkled his nose and said, "I don't WANT to smell YOU, Daddy!" :) We laughed pretty hard about that.

So long, farewell, my feet are sayin' goodbye! (that's what the song sounded like to me when I was little)
